Description
War for the Planet of the Apes begins two years after the events of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The intelligent chimpanzee Caesar has become the undisputed leader of a growing ape community, and circumstances now force him into the new role of a war general. Caesar’s clan faces a catastrophic situation: the group has retreated into the forests, where it often clashes with a human army led by the ruthless Colonel McCullough. The ape community suffers enormous losses, and Caesar feels the pain of every death. Struggling with his own darker instincts, he sets out on a path of revenge that inevitably brings him into conflict with the Colonel in an epic battle that will determine which species becomes the dominant one and shapes the future of the defeated side.
