Description
The "Funniest Sad Story" Seventeen-year-old Hazel Grace has been living with a diagnosis of thyroid cancer for three years, and although it's uncertain how her condition will develop, she is not heading towards a cure. During this time, she has started to view her illness with a certain irony, and what bothers her the most is that she will never find out how her favorite book, The Imperial Affliction, ends, as it has an open ending. However, at a support group meeting, she meets the charming young man Augustus Waters, who has managed to overcome his illness and shares her sarcastic view on life.
