Description
Rudy Baylor is in his final year of law school at the University of Memphis. In a club where insolvent retirees gather, he acquires his first two clients. Mrs. Birdie wants to disinherit her own grandchildren and children who neglect her. The second client is the Black family. Their son Donny has leukemia and is dying, even though a bone marrow transplant could save his life. However, the insurance company refuses to pay for it. Rudy develops a deep relationship with the Black family, especially with the dying Donny. He understands that they are not so much after compensation as they are after a just condemnation of the fraudulent organization. He decides to win the lawsuit at all costs...
