Description
In the story of little Vítek Kříž and his brother Jáchym, we find ourselves in Běstviny, a place made for an ancient legend, where at the end of the castle garden, a huge compost is moving. Deep underground, there is said to live a worm that must be fed – with joy, fear, guilt, and occasionally something alive. Once grandfather leaves, one of the grandsons will have to take his place and take care of Běstviny. To ensure the legend does not break, he will have to kill... But what if the characters rebel against their own storyteller and refuse to be part of his game? And how can one outsmart his omniscience, which rushes through the trees in the form of wind and arrogantly flicks its tail? The children of the Běstviny story are now adults and return to the gardens to tell the last chapters in their own way.
