Description
After her husband's death, Tova starts working as a cleaner at the aquarium. Employment has always helped her cope with difficulties, ever since her eighteen-year-old son Erik mysteriously disappeared over thirty years ago. There, Tova meets Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus. Shy Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine, but it would never occur to him to lift one of his eight tentacles against his human captors—until he befriends Tova. Marcellus, who is actually a brilliant detective, deduces what happened the night Tova's son went missing. Now he must use all the tricks his old invertebrate body can muster to reveal the truth to her before it's too late. This story of friendship, acceptance, and hope is a reminder that an uncompromising look into the past can help uncover a good future that once seemed impossible. And we promise it will entertain and move you.
