Description
Hot sand, chilled drinks, and a chilling murder! Anything can happen on Camino Island. Even murder during a hurricane rampage. And nothing destroys evidence as reliably as the fury of a tropical storm... Bruce Cable, the owner of a bookstore on Florida's Camino Island, is sure that his old friend Nelson Kerr didn't die because of the hurricane. But who could have wanted the death of a beloved thriller author? The police are busy dealing with the aftermath of the storm, so Bruce decides to investigate the murderer on his own. When he discovers a manuscript for a new novel on the dead writer's computer, it becomes clear that sometimes reality is scarier than any plot...
