Description
The plot of the historical adventure novel with a detective twist takes place in medieval Prague in the autumn of 1396. The main hero is Wenceslas, the deputy mayor of the Old Town of Prague, who faces a challenging task: to track down the murderers of the young lord Jindřich Bludovský, who was murdered right in the marketplace. Additionally, he intends to find the stolen chest of money belonging to the great merchant Ebrlin, which disappeared at the time of the murder. Wenceslas has plenty to worry about, especially since he also faces constant disputes among the Old Town citizens, there are ghosts haunting an abandoned house by the cemetery, and every now and then, Wenceslas's wife adds her bit to the chaos...
