Again and again, I dream of the Hotel U Delfína. In my dreams, I am inseparably part of it. And my connection to it continues as a certain continuous state. My dreams make this clear to me with absolute clarity. The Hotel U Delfína is deformed beyond recognition in them. It is terribly narrow and long. So narrow and long that it resembles a long covered bridge rather than a hotel. A thin bridge that stretches through the universe from the very beginning to the very end. And I belong to it. And someone is crying there. Someone is shedding tears because of me. The hero of the story returns to the northernmost island of Hokkaido, where years ago he experienced thrilling moments while searching for a mysterious sheep. At the same time, he lost his girlfriend there, who disappeared without a trace from the Hotel U Delfína. He decides that he must find her. However, on the site of the old, dilapidated inn stands a modern, comfortable building. There is no sign of the staff – only inside still resides the Sheep Man.
