It all started with a rag doll. It continued with a puppeteer. And now here is The End Game: the toughest case that detectives Wolf and Baxter have ever solved – and one they may not survive... Finlay Shaw, a retired police officer, is found dead in a locked room. No one doubts it was suicide. No one, except for one detective with a tarnished reputation – William Wolf Fawkes. Together with his former partner Emily Baxter and private eye Edmunds, they investigate Shaw's past. Was he really as exemplary as he seemed? Or is there something about him that he never revealed to anyone? Not everyone in the department is thrilled about Wolf's return. And the deeper Wolf delves into the muck of police corruption during the investigation, the more he risks his career again – and the lives of his loved ones. Read by: Monika Žáková, Martin Stránský.
