This CD presents a live recording of the concert held on 19 May 2025, when a unique musical collaboration took over Forum Karlín. The Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jan Kučera, joined Chinaski to perform the band’s greatest hits in symphonic arrangements. For three decades, Chinaski has been one of the most prominent names on the Czech music scene, with melodies that appeal to generations through energetic rock hits, melancholic ballads and playful songs featuring Michal Malátný’s distinctive lyrics. In collaboration with the orchestra, the songs gain a new dimension through rich harmonies and the power of a large ensemble. The concert also features guests Ondřej Ruml and Jitka Čvančarová. The orchestral arrangements are by the band’s keyboard player and producer Jan Steinsdörfer, combining rock energy with the elegance of symphonic sound.
