Description
This two-film collection brings together Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II. In Mortal Kombat, MMA fighter Cole Young knows nothing about the dragon-shaped mark he was born with, his origins, or why Shang Tsung, emperor of Outworld, has sent his finest warrior, the ice ninja Sub-Zero, to capture him. Fearing for his family, Cole follows Special Forces commander Jax’s advice and searches for Sonya Blade. His quest leads him to the temple of Earthrealm’s protector, Lord Raiden, where he trains with Liu Kang, Kung Lao and the mercenary Kano for an epic battle against Outworld’s enemies, with the fate of the universe at stake. In Mortal Kombat II, Earthrealm’s champions, including popular characters from the first film, face an even more brutal and relentless tournament, battling not only one another but also the dark ruler Shao Kahn, who seeks to destroy Earth and subjugate its defenders.
