Description
The former rancher Taw Jackson (John Wayne) returns to the town of Emmet in New Mexico. He has been released on parole from prison, where he was serving time for crimes he did not commit. His property and good name were taken from him by Frank Pierce, who is now the wealthiest man in the country. Now, Taw is determined to settle the score. He manages to recruit gunslinger Lomax (Kirk Douglas), and they are preparing for the most impossible heist of all time - to rob Pierce's armored car transporting gold.
