Description
The royal squire Jiřík tastes a bite from a magical snake and understands the language of animals. However, he commits an offense against his king's command, and so he faces either the death penalty or an uncertain and dangerous journey to find Zlatovláska, the princess from a mysterious realm in the middle of the sea. Therefore, he sets off on a journey accompanied by Štěpán, with whom he grew up since childhood, and a little dog named Štístek, whose life Jiřík saved. Jiřík is in for a series of adventures and surprises along the way. He has no idea that Štěpán is consumed by jealousy and is not as sincere a friend as he seemed to be. Fortunately, Jiřík has brave allies, the animals he helped.
