Description
A fairy-tale film follows royal page Jiřík, who tastes a morsel of a magical snake and gains the ability to understand animals. By disobeying his king, he faces either the death penalty or an uncertain and dangerous journey to find Golden-haired, a princess from a mysterious kingdom in the middle of the sea. Jiřík sets out with Štěpán, who has grown up with him since childhood, and a little dog named Štístko, whose life Jiřík once saved. Along the way, Jiřík encounters a series of adventures and surprises. He does not realize that Štěpán is consumed by envy and is not the sincere friend he seemed to be. Fortunately, Jiřík has brave allies in the animals he has helped.
