For centuries, the Endless Wall at the borders of the Eternal Empire was considered the end of the world. No one passed through it except its own citizens, and the well-hidden secret was thus safe. Behind it lay a mystical source of power called Qi, which allowed warriors and sorcerers to achieve feats bordering on divine power. Rumors of this new power spread across the land. The necromancers took notice and set out for the empire as soon as it allowed foreigners to enter.
