When the vizier's insatiability, greed, and ambition began to exceed all bounds, war broke out. The vizier thus sowed the seed of revenge in the hearts of the people and waited for it to sprout. Meanwhile, the kingdom decided to employ all the scholars in the land to help accumulate wealth and solidify its rule, but these scholars could be the only hope for improving the living conditions of the local poor. A deep chasm thus formed between the kingdom and the people.
Now you can choose. To help, to take revenge, or to seek power... what will you choose?
In the board game Belaad: Land of Scholars and Warriors, you will play as either supporters of the kingdom, the people, or the assassins, and you will try to employ or assassinate as many scholars as possible. To this end, you will compete with other players and earn money, rob opponents, gather forces, and fight.
