Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) moves with his family from Chicago to the forests of Oregon for work, where he is to oversee the construction of a seemingly eco-friendly project. At first, he thinks that his biggest problems will be his spoiled wife (Brooke Shields) and his teenage son (Matt Prokop), who has a panic fear of nature. However, he has no idea that due to his new position, he has become Public Enemy No. 1 for all the local animals, who are not willing to give up their home without a fight! Wild creatures from the local forests make Dan's life miserable at every turn. They ruin his work, family life, and clothing. He desperately defends himself against the attacks of a perfectly organized animal army. Gradually, he realizes that his attempts are completely futile, and moreover, no one believes him.
