Description
A piglet named Babe is won at a market by Farmer Hoggett, who looks forward to a good roast. Everything turns out differently, however, when the dog Fly takes Babe under her care and teaches him to herd sheep. Babe also befriends the other farm animals, including the eccentric duck Ferdinand, the sheep Maa and three singing mice. The farmer eventually decides to enter Babe in a sheepdog competition instead of putting him in the oven. Becoming a champion is not easy. This charming family comedy combines live action with animation and is based on a popular children's book. It received seven Oscar nominations.
