Frank and KOLJA face a long and complicated journey towards smiles and love... Jan Svěrák invites you into the private life of an aging musician in this kind, bittersweet comedy, who wanted to stage a fake wedding to get money for a used Trabant and ended up with the opportunity to take care of a foreign child. The little boy was named KOLJA, and after his Russian mother emigrated to the West, he was left on the neck of his paper father. The small and big man, although they do not speak the same language, will soon find their own way of communicating. The language of these two was also understood by the American Film Academy.
