Carl Hamilton once had a family, which was destroyed by a cruel act of revenge. The kidnapping of his seven-year-old goddaughter now reminds him of all those painful moments. When photos of Nathalie with a mask appear on the internet, it becomes clear that the kidnapping is aimed at her mother, Ewa Tanguy, the head of the Swedish security police.
