Description
This expansion for the Wingspan game puts players in the role of dragonologists opening an academy where young dragons can develop their potential. The Fire Academy adds a new layer of strategic planning, with a new Dragon Brotherhood board, an adjusted round tracker, and training cubes that create additional strategic possibilities and new ways to earn income when dragons are passed. It greatly expands the base game with new dragon and cave cards, goal tiles, Dragon Brotherhood boards, and a slightly modified solo mode. The new round board changes what players can gain at the end of each round, while the additional cards and components offer greater variety and new strategic paths. The new elements are incorporated into the base game by replacing the original round tracker and selected dragon and cave cards. The expansion also includes an appendix to the dragon almanac with information about its new dragons.
