Build towers and send your guards to protect the surroundings from thieves. This expansion brings new tension to Carcassonne, as you must place your followers on the towers to secure points. At the same time, you must be careful not to let the enemy take away your guard! The package includes a foldable tower that serves as a practical card holder for landscape tiles.

Send guards to the towers and protect your territory with the Towers and Thieves expansion for Carcassonne. In this expansion, you will become tower builders and guards who uncover thieves and earn points for it. This expansion cannot be played alone, but you can combine it with the base game and other expansions.

With 13 new landscape tiles and 5 special tower tiles, you will build towers and send your guards to them. A tower is established by placing one tile on the tower construction site tile. The height of the tower determines its range – a tower of height 1 has a range to adjacent tiles, a tower of height 2 has a range to two tiles in a row, and so on. If you place a tile so that it has a range to the tower, you can place your follower on it as a guard. If there is already a guard on the tower, they are removed, and you gain 2 points.
