The Traders and Builders expansion brings new business opportunities and strategic pieces to the world of Carcassonne. Collect goods tokens from completed cities and earn points for the largest collection at the end of the game. Use builders to gain an extra turn and secure additional points for neighboring cities with the pig in the meadow.

Enhance your Carcassonne game with new trading and building opportunities with the Traders and Builders expansion. This expansion, which cannot be played without the base game, introduces new strategic elements and pieces to the medieval world. The construction boom is in full swing, and builders appear on the scene, capable of accelerating the development of your territories and allowing you to take a double turn. Simply extend a road or expand a city where you have your builder, and you will gain an extra turn.

When completing cities, you not only earn points but also become a trader. The new landscape tiles feature goods symbols, and if you complete a city with such symbols, you will receive the corresponding goods tokens. At the end of the game, the player who has collected the most tokens of a given type (poultry, grain, or cloth) will receive a bonus of 10 points.
