Moravanka Jana Slabáka - The Last LIVE Concert / 40 Greatest Hits of Moravanka This DVD contains a recording of the last public concert of one of the most famous and beloved Moravian brass bands – Moravanka and its legendary conductor and founder, Jan Slabák. The concert symbolically took place in Kyjov, the birthplace of Jan Slabák. Shortly after this performance, the conductor announced the end of this exceptional band's activity after more than 50 years of successful performances both in our country and around the world, a band that has influenced entire generations of musicians and fans of brass music and has fundamentally shaped and continues to influence the form of brass music. This title therefore includes the biggest and most popular hits that the band played during its performances. The majority of the songs come directly from the creative workshop of Jan Slabák, but you will also find songs by other popular composers of Czech and Moravian brass music or adapted orchestral pieces by world authors. Moravanka is accompanied at the concert by its soloists Ivana Slabáková, Daniela Magálová, Anička Zlomková, Jitka Osičková, Břetislav Osička, Vojtěch Osička, and Karel Hegner.
