Description
Photographer J. B. Jeff Jeffries (James Stewart) is confined to a wheelchair due to a broken leg. During his long hours, he becomes captivated by a window leading directly to the courtyard, from where Jeff has a view into the apartments of his neighbors. Watching the fates of the tenants from the opposite building engrosses him to the point where he begins to suspect one of them of murdering his wife. Jeff, along with his elegant girlfriend (Grace Kelly), embarks on uncovering a perplexingly complex chain of events... Events leading to a sensational and gripping conclusion.
