Description
The protagonist of the story is the idealistic young engineer Miroslav Čáp (Jan Slovák), who starts his first job with the intention of performing his work duties as best as he can. However, Mirk's new colleagues do not burden themselves with work. Instead, among them, there is a thriving culture of informants, favoritism, intrigue, fraud, alcoholism, and promiscuity. Mirek refuses to play along and inadvertently initiates a rebellion against the management. Smoke offers a cohesive story infused with a playfully ironic view of reality characteristic of Divadlo Sklep, the director's home stage.
