Description
Heaven Can Wait is a romantic fantasy about Joe Pendleton (Warren Beatty), a linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams, who is accidentally called to Heaven due to the overzealousness of a heavenly messenger. Pendleton returns to Earth in the body of another man, specifically a business giant, and while training to play for the Rams again, he must evade assassination attempts while also devoting his romantic interest to a charming Englishwoman (Julie Christie), who is fighting against one of his many corporations that destroyed her village.
