Jack (Ashton Kutcher) and Joy (Cameron Diaz) are two people with completely opposite traits. They have never met, but after the wildest party in Vegas, they wake up next to each other and discover that not only did they have a great time, but they have also become husband and wife! However, their attempt to annul the marriage unexpectedly gets complicated when Jack wins a jackpot of 3 million dollars thanks to Joy's quarter, and a wise judge (Dennis Miller) issues a clear ruling: a six-month 'marriage hard time.'
