New York, 1941. Neurotic screenwriter Barton Fink (John Turturro) has just made it big on Broadway. Producers are starting to take an interest in him. When Hollywood calls for him to write a wrestling movie, Barton trades city smog for film fame. L.A. welcomes Barton Fink with open arms. Barton Fink struggles with writer's block.
