Description
The film tells the true life story of controversial basketball coach Ken Carter (Oscar®-nominated Samuel L. Jackson*). Carter closed the gym of his undefeated team when he discovered that the players were failing in school. For his actions, he was both fiercely rejected and enthusiastically praised. He had to overcome the resistance of players, parents, and society as a whole, who pressured him to reopen the court. He decided to show young people a future that transcends gangs, drugs, prison, and even basketball. The film also features music icon Ashanti.
