An ant with a desire to stand out from the crowd cannot have an easy life in the anthill. Work - aphid beer - mandatory dance - sleep - work - aphid beer... And so Zet is at the peak of bliss when one day a beautiful Bala appears in the bar, with whom he can dance differently than according to the machine-prescribed steps. However, happiness is short-lived; Bala disappears and Zet learns that he will never see her again - she was a runaway princess. But love is love, and worker Zet persuades warrior Snovač to switch places. Thanks to this, he can participate in the military parade, where the princess is present. Too late, Zet realizes that it is a parade of warriors preparing for a dangerous attack on the lair of bloodthirsty termites. The attack ends tragically, with Zet being the only survivor, and due to a series of coincidences, he finds himself once again near the princess and outside the anthill. He sets out to find the mythical Insectopia, and Princess Bala must accompany him, whether she wants to or not. They are being pursued by General Kusadlo, who wants to take the princess as his wife and prepare a terrible fate for all the workers in the anthill.
