The story of a young boy who dreams of becoming a warrior. According to legend, there lived in a mysterious land called Prydain a king so evil and cruel that even the gods feared him. No prison could hold him, and so he was cast into a vessel of molten iron, his demonic power bound in a great black cauldron. No one knows where the cauldron is hidden, but everyone knows what it can do. Hundreds of years ago, a young shepherd named Taran was chosen to protect a magical pig. It alone knows the location of the most terrifying talisman in the world. And in these times, another king has decided to find the black cauldron at any cost and use it to conquer the world. The fate of all rests in the hands of Taran and his companions, and Taran cannot fail. Will he manage to protect the black cauldron?
