Description
After a painful breakup, Nic decides to leave behind the worn tracks of everyday life and surrender herself to loneliness. She embarks on a radical journey: hitchhiking from London to Australia. Along the way, she finds herself in precarious situations and must cope with her deep anxieties. But she also meets many strangers who give her so much... NIC JORDAN, born in 1989, spent her early years with two siblings and her parents, immigrants from Poland, in a small social housing unit in Munich. At sixteen, she was expelled from school for selling marijuana to save money for traveling. Since then, she has held various jobs across Europe – working as a waitress, masseuse, promoter, or street musician. In 2016, she decided to hitchhike to the other side of the world, from London to Australia, passing through some of the coldest and most isolated places on Earth. After a brief interlude when she returned to Germany, Nic now lives in Byron Bay, Australia, where she studies ecology and works as a yoga teacher.
