Vladimír Mišík - Seconds, Months, and Years / gatefold / 180 g ***** Vladimír Mišík returns this October with a new album "Seconds, Months, and Years." This album is Mišík's third collaboration with producer Petr Ostrouchov and follows the previously acclaimed titles "Once I Meet You" (2019) and "Night Image" (2021). The album features fifteen new songs with lyrics by Vladimír Mišík and Michael Žantovský, one poem selected from the collections of Josef Kainar, Jan Skácel, Jiří Dědeček, and František Gellner, and one text written specifically for Mišík by Tomáš Belko, a former bandmate of Ostrouchov from the band Sto zvířat. A ten-member band gathered in the studio, with the core being – as in previous albums – the quartet "Blue Shadows," consisting of guitarists Josef Štěpánek and Petr Ostrouchov, bassist Matěj Belko, and drummer Martin Novák, along with pianist Jan Steinsdörfer and Hammond organ player Ondřej Pivec, who lives in the USA (both of whom also contributed to the album "Night Image"), guitarist Lukáš Martinek, double bassist Tomáš Liška, and two rare foreign guests whose imprint can be found in many projects of famous colleagues (Sting, Rolling Stones, Elton John, Depeche Mode, Crosby, Stills and Nash, James Taylor,…
