Selected chapters from the eponymous books were read on Czech Radio Dvojka as part of a live broadcast on Sunday mornings by prominent acting personalities (Libuše Švormová, Jana Preissová, Josef Somr, Jiří Lábus, Naďa Konvalinková, Viktor Preiss, Ladislav Frej, Jan Potměšil, and many others). Therefore, they are not available or preserved in the radio archive. By releasing the audiobooks O květině and Houslový klíč, we fulfill, among other things, the wishes of those who want to return to the texts of Zuzana Maléřová, to listen to them again, and to seek their own feelings, hopes, and aspirations within them. The writer Zuzana Maléřová has been collaborating with Czech Radio since the beginning of her professional career, which has become an inseparable part of her life. It inspired her to write the books O květině (Radio Confessor) and Houslový klíč (Radio Awakenings). Both books are characterized by the close contact of the author with listeners and readers, refined use of language, and profound experiences, stories, and reflections that she confides to them in the silence of the night or the early morning as to her loved ones. All of this is complemented by portraits of both famous and unknown individuals, musicalized poems, the cycle of nature, and the human ability to endure and overcome obstacles.
