Description
Alice is a single mother and also a scientist, dedicated to her work as the head of a department at a corporation focused on developing new plant species. She has just succeeded in creating a special crimson plant that is remarkable not only for its beauty but also for its therapeutic value: if kept at the ideal temperature, properly watered, and spoken to nicely, it brings its owner a sense of happiness. Alice breaks company policy and brings one plant home as a gift for her young son Joe. Together, they name the plant Little Joe, but as the plant grows, Alice begins to suspect that the new creation may not be as harmless as it initially seemed...
