Description
The Tebenas publishing house continues the project of completing the works of the legendary Czech screenwriter and writer, master of dark literature Vladimír Körner. Following The End of Solitude Berhof and Life for a Signature, the novella from 1993 Dog Skin is now being released. It originated from the script of the eponymous television film, which was directed by Antonín Moskalyk a decade earlier. The harsh story takes place at the end of the Thirty Years' War. War-weary Eliáš returns to his native freehold on the Moravian-Silesian border. Everyone around suspects he is returning as a deserter. A struggle begins with the representatives of the Jesuit monastery, who are trying to take over his estate. The oppressive atmosphere of fear leads to a bloody conflict that has no winner. The audiobook is once again masterfully narrated by Igor Bareš, directed by Roman Štolpa. The music and final song were provided by Raven. ************Total time: 4 hours 42 minutes
