Description
Few authors on the threshold of their tenth (!) decade of life can boast such vitality and favor from readers and listeners as Ilja Hurník (born November 25, 1922). The composer, playwright, and prose writer has over thirty books to his credit, among which the writer's notebooks hold a very specific place, published by Akropolis since 2005. The books of literary miniatures, sketches, short stories, fables, and apocrypha always bear a title based on a color chosen by the author. Thus, the notebook Green has a green cover, this year's notebook Orange is orange, and so on. What was Hurník's disappointment when he discovered that the market for book covers lacked a rainbow cover? And so, at the birth of the audiobook—a selection from all previous notebooks—there was a purely technical mishap. The lack of a rainbow cover will be replaced by Newton's rings on the CD media. However, before you insert the presented double CD, featuring Otakar Brousek senior, Josef Somr, and Hana Kofránková, into the player, take a look. Hana Kofránková also took on the direction. Sleeve note by Miloš Horanský. 2 CDs (duration 120:36)
