Description
This Czech-language audio recording brings together actors and an academic painter, who met in the studio of the National Theatre in 1992 and shared amusing stories from their lives. Their conversation was recorded and edited into approximately one hour of storytelling. The material remained practically unheard for twenty years because no one took responsibility for preserving this “historic” gem. It now offers a unique opportunity to hear the voices of Josef Vinklář, Boris Rösner, František Němec, Jiří Štěpnička, Václav Knop and painter Vladimír Komárek. All are outstanding storytellers, accompanied on the piano by Ladislav Gerendáš.
