Description
A mysterious prisoner in a castle, and a mystery that will not let the Famous Five rest. Four friends and their dog Timmy are spending the Easter holidays in caravans near an abandoned castle ruin. Exciting new neighbours arrive beside them: circus performers with a crate full of boa constrictors. The children eagerly watch the snake charmer, the fire-eater and the incredibly flexible Rubber Man, who can squeeze through almost anywhere. They would like to become friends with the performers, but the newcomers keep playing tricks on them. Then something strange happens. Dick sees a desperate face in the window of the castle tower, or perhaps he is mistaken. Who is hiding in the castle, and are the circus performers involved? The Famous Five must find out.
