Description
This Czech-language MP3 CD audiobook, narrated by Lukáš Hlavica, follows the legendary Hercule Poirot and the romantically inclined Captain Hastings as they hurry back to France after Hastings is captivated by a mysterious Cinderella he meets on the Calais express. Their journey is prompted by an urgent letter from a South American millionaire staying in the French town of Merlinville, who fears for his life. At Villa Genevieve, overlooking the sea, they are met not by the owner but by a police sergeant, who tells them that Monsieur Renauld has been murdered. His body is found in an open grave, stabbed in the back, only a few metres from his property on an unfinished golf course. In this second Poirot story, inspired by a real event, Arthur Hastings again serves as narrator.
