What? The mafia wants to have a good life in Maigret's territory? That's out of the question! The dreary weather of the miserable post-war year has put Maigret in a pensive mood, and the case of the stolen corpse from rue Fléchier in the 9th arrondissement of Paris isn't helping his spirits either. Only a certain tall blonde gets in Maigret's way during the raid, perhaps even more annoyingly than the zealous Lognon... In the film adaptation 'Maigret is Angry' (1963) starring Jean Gabin in the title role, the master detective from the Quai des Orfèvres faces organized crime from overseas for the first time.
