Description
What secrets does the undergrowth of the past hide for a traumatized young woman? ***** It has been seven years since an old cottage in the Šumava countryside became Sára's refuge, and her life began to unfold in an unchanging rhythm, resembling a daily arduous journey along the mushroom-picking trail she 'inherited' from her father. However, she cannot avoid the memories of the events that led her to a psychiatric hospital and for which she dreads sleepless nights forever. The proverbial pebble that triggers an avalanche of events turning the heroine's existence upside down will be her mother's funeral. Will she finally manage to come to terms with her burdensome past and find the long-desired peace? ***** The author's second novel has definitively confirmed her reputation as a talented storyteller of tales about dysfunctional families. ***** Recording length: 10 hours 45 minutes.
