When a top Chinese swimmer commits suicide just before the start of the Beijing Games and another promising representative dies in the arms of his lover, the Olympic ambitions of the world's most populous country look dangerously bleak. Soon, it becomes clear that this is not the end of the list of similar "accidental" deaths in the host country's team.
