Description
Today, the commissioner is troubled. Who knows, maybe he would have preferred it if Maigret hadn't bent down at the right moment and muffled that blow? One night, during a grueling shift, a battered young man arrives at the police station, having heard cries for help and gunfire at the home of a wealthy family. Maigret sets out to investigate the incident on his own.
