A fairly successful racer had to temporarily leave the racetracks to face a family tragedy with his daughter. The retriever Enzo always stood faithfully by their side, and now, at the end of a tumultuous dog life, he reflects as captivatingly as the cocker spaniel Flush from Virginia Woolf's novel. He knows how to win – after all, he is a golden retriever – he accepts losses with his head held high and has no fear of the future, for there is no reason to. According to an ancient legend, he will be reborn as a human and reunite with Denny... A touching story told purely from a dog's perspective was filmed in 2019 by Simon Curtis.
