What else can justify the sins committed against her by others? And where to start accounting for her own? Eliška was exactly nine years, ten months, and seven days old when her life changed fundamentally: on that day, her mother first killed her younger brother and then herself. Since then, the girl has been forced to grow up without any explanation for the tragic event with a peculiar aunt who shows no interest in her – just like the rest of the world. Nevertheless, she navigates life relatively smoothly, succeeding in high school and in relationships, but everything changes when she starts university. As an architecture student who wants to work on the restoration of historical buildings, she begins to grapple with burning questions: Why did her mother do it? And was the blame solely on her side? With obsession, Eliška embarks on reconstructing the family (self) murder and the blank spaces in her soul. Can life, however, be understood as a project or a drawing, where all lines and intersections can be geometrically plotted?
