Description
A proper adventure is on the horizon! Siblings Anna, Dick, and Julian are unusually not spending their holidays with their parents – they are heading to Kirrin Bay to visit relatives they have never met before. The aunt is nice, the uncle is grumpy, and cousin Georgina is a bit quirky (she only responds to the shortened version of her name, 'George'), but she has a dog named Tim, her own island, and nearby, a shipwreck. When the sea one day washes the sunken ship onto the rocks during a storm, the children discover that there might be treasure hidden on the island. However, someone else knows the secret and would like to take the island and the treasure from them… The first story in the cult children's series, which inspired a British television series in 1978 and a German film series in 2012 (directed by Mark Marzuk).
