Description
Return to Lewis Island Niamh and Ruairidh Macfarlane own the Hebridean luxury clothing brand Ranish Tweed. When they embark on a business trip to Paris together, Niamh learns about her husband's affair with a Russian fashion designer and soon witnesses Ruairidh and his mistress perish in a bomb explosion. While Parisian police and their Scottish colleagues begin their investigation, the widow, in grief, returns home to Lewis Island. In the familiar surroundings, she sifts through memories of her marriage and tries to uncover who might have wanted Ruairidh dead. Meanwhile, the French police rule out the possibility of a terrorist attack and send investigator Sylvia Braque to the Outer Hebrides to interrogate the main murder suspects.
