Description
Mute Elisa lives in a small hole above the Arcade cinema in Baltimore. She works as a janitor in a highly guarded research facility, and her only friends are the aging painter Giles and her colleague Zelda. One day, however, a new lab is added to her list of tasks, inhabited by a living object of a secret government experiment – a humanoid aquatic creature. In the jungle, it was called the Amphibian God; here, it is destined for vivisection. A strange bond forms between the mute girl and the peculiar creature, forever changing their fates.
